M400 Heavy-Lift Transport Drone Launched for Industrial Logistics

Spider-i Launches M400 Heavy-Lift Transport Drone for Industrial Logistics
Spider-i has officially introduced the M400 Transport Drone, a new heavy-lift UAV designed for industrial logistics, emergency transport, and specialized aerial delivery applications.
As part of the Spider-i M Series, the M400 is developed for professional operations where payload capacity, flight stability, and system reliability are critical. For this reason, the platform focuses on practical performance rather than experimental features.
The M400 Transport Drone is intended for use in complex environments such as industrial sites, mountainous areas, and emergency response zones. At the same time, it is designed to support repeatable and structured logistics operations.
Heavy Payload Capability for Industrial Transport
TThe M400 transport drone supports a maximum takeoff weight of 333 kg. Its rated payload is 150 kg, while the maximum payload reaches 200 kg. As a result, the aircraft is suitable for transporting heavy equipment, materials, and supplies.
In addition, this payload capacity reduces the need for multiple transport cycles. Therefore, overall logistics efficiency can be significantly improved in time-sensitive scenarios.
The M400 can be applied in construction logistics, industrial material transfer, agricultural supply delivery, and emergency missions.
Endurance and Range for Real-World Missions
The M400 is powered by four custom battery packs, which provide a balanced combination of endurance and range. Under no-load conditions, the drone can fly for up to 45 minutes
With a maximum range of approximately 46.5 km, the M400 supports most short- and mid-distance logistics routes. When carrying a 130 kg payload, the aircraft maintains stable flight for up to 15 minutes.
In addition, the intelligent battery system supports fast charging and quick replacement. As a result, downtime between missions is reduced during continuous operations.
Autonomous Flight Control and Precise Positioning
The M400 is equipped with a self-developed flight control system that supports autonomous route planning and automatic flight execution. At the same time, operators can monitor flight status in real time.
To improve navigation accuracy, the system integrates GPS and RTK dual positioning. As a result, the drone achieves centimeter-level positioning accuracy, which is essential for repeatable transport missions.
This level of precision helps ensure stable flight paths and predictable landing performance.

Imaging System and Operator Control
For situational awareness, the M400 integrates an FVV wide-angle stabilized camera with 1280 × 720 resolution. In addition, night vision capability supports operations in low-light conditions.
A high-brightness night flight light further improves visibility during nighttime missions. Therefore, the platform can be used around the clock when required.
The remote controller features a 5.5-inch touchscreen display. Under open and interference-free conditions, the transmission distance reaches up to 10 km.
Industrial Structure and Environmental Protection
The M400 features a high-strength airframe with foldable arms, which improves transportation and storage efficiency. At the same time, the folding design supports faster deployment in the field.
With an IP67 protection rating, the drone is resistant to dust and water. As a result, it can operate reliably in harsh outdoor environments.
The supported operating temperature range is -10°C to 65°C. In addition, each unit is delivered with a tool kit and a custom wooden transport case for safe transport and maintenance.
